About us

Motosport Newman opened its doors in 1960, specializing in the sales and service of HONDA products. Located in LaSalle, a suburb of Montreal, Quebec, the new motorcycle dealership quickly amassed a loyal and satisfied customer base. Aside from sales of new vehicles, there was always a good selection of pre-owned bikes and ATVs in stock at reasonable prices. With the added-value feature of excellent repair facilities, their service bays were always full. In the motorcycle community, their mechanics and technicians were known to be second to none.

In the late sixties a young Italian immigrant named Goni Pampena was employed as a mechanic. With hard work and a fierce loyalty to both the business and the customer, he distinguished himself as providing honest and reputable service. In 1985, the dedication paid off and he was able to take over the ownership of the business in its entirety.

Since that time, Motosport Newman has grown, and continues to grow steadily every year. Gino, with the help of his three sons Sergio, Franco and Anthony, continues to excel in giving the best service and value to the customer. In 2002 they took over the South-Shore store on Taschereau Boulevard and in 2008 acquired a store in Pierrefonds.

Of course there have been changes; keeping up with technology is important in every business. But some things will always remain the same: superior quality service, and highly competitive pricing.
